A downloadable game for Windows and macOS

Ants vs Zombies is a 2D tactical game up to two players where the player (Peter the Anteater) protects Mesa Court by placing a variety of anteater turrets which shoot ant bullets, each with their own attributes towards the oncoming wave of zombies. Ant bullets will damage the zombies, eventually killi-0ong them when their health reaches zero. Zombies are able to damage and destroy these ant turrets as well as the player when in contact with them. If a zombie reaches the endline or the player is defeated, the game is over as the zombies have infiltrated the Mesa Court Base. The game modes are singleplayer, multiplayer is a cooperative version of singleplayer, and versus is a player vs AI battle to see who is the best Peter.

There are six types of anteater turrets and ant bullets, being standard, fire, ice, electric, earth, and homing. Standard anteater turrets have a standard amount of health and shoot at a set rate with no area of effect. Standard ant bullets deal a set amount of damage to zombies with no other effects. Fire anteater turrets have a slower rate of fire as well as have an area of effect of low damage over time surrounding its placement. Fire ant bullets are smaller in size and deal damage over time. Ice anteater turrets have lower health and rate of fire than other turrets, but they slow zombies around it. Ice ant bullets slow enemies and have a slower travel speed. Electric Anteater turrets increase player’s shoot rate when  in radius but have a low health. Electric ant bullets are able to shoot through all zombies in its path as well as paralyze them for a short duration, however they deal minimal damage. Earth Anteater turrets have the most health, however they slow the player’s shoot rate when in radius as well as have a slower shoot speed. Earth ant bullets deal higher damage, have a slow movement speed, and start large but decreases in size and will break eventually. Homing Anteater turrets fire an ant that targets a zombie within range. Homing ant bullets will home towards a zombie within homing radius.

The player can place these ant turrets in the space directly in front of them by pressing the 1 keys while scrolling between turrets pressing the 2 and 3 keys. The player is also able to shoot bullets using spacebar and select the bullet type by pressing the 4 and 5 keys. The second player can place turrets by pressing g keys while scrolling between turrets with h and j keys. The second player shoots with the right shift key and switches bullets with k and l keys.
